Jim Huske

Jim Huske is chief of staff and director of Evening Programs for the Graduate School, U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). Mr. Huske has extensive experience in helping organizations develop their people and work more effectively. In addition to twelve years in education and human resources development, he has a broad range of experience in training, organizational development, leadership development, program analysis, program management, business development, and sales gained in a variety of organizations in the private, not-for-profit, and public sectors.

 

The Graduate School, USDA, provides individuals with educational programs and opportunities for career advancement. Today, it enrolls nearly two hundred thousand individuals in nearly one thousand courses and programs. As chief of staff, Mr. Huske ensures that the school, a dynamic institution with an eighty-seven-year history, remains relevant by adjusting to the needs of its clients. As director of evening programs, he provides leadership for curriculum and delivery. Prior to his current role, he served as the school’s director of business development—sales and as director of institutional planning and research.
