Muriel Watkins

Muriel Watkins is president of MW Financial Inc., a management consulting firm specializing in providing strategic planning assistance related to federal credit and grant programs. She has served as a senior executive in the federal government with operational responsibility for bringing national marketing and sales programs online at the Resolution Trust Corporation and Federal Communications Commission. Ms Watkins serves as a subject matter expert and advisor on consulting teams to complete operational, management, and program performance reviews at agencies with asset sales programs, including the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. These assignments involve development of best practices and recommendations to enhance agency operation as well as the expanded use of the Internet to support the marketing and sale of real estate owned, delinquent loans, and other nonperforming assets. Ms. Watkins also provides program support to federal grant programs, has supported strategic funding goals of major nonprofit organizations, and advises private companies on developing business strategies in response to federal funding initiatives. Ms Watkins has a master of city and regional planning degree from Harvard University.
