The Federal Executive Institute (FEI) in Charlottesville, Virginia, is one of the federal government's premier development centers for senior executives. FEI was established by Presidential Order in 1968, and is operated by the U. S. Office of Personnel Management. FEI brings high performance executives together to develop broad corporate viewpoints, understand their roles, and enhance essential management skills.
As part of the continuing education and leadership development process, the faculty of the Federal Executive Institute publishes a bi-monthly educational periodical, The Leadership Landscape, that keeps graduates current on cutting edge leadership research, publishing and programming initiatives from the FEI faculty, and research conducted in the executive education field worldwide.
The Public Manager is pleased to work in collaboration with both FEI and the FEI Alumni Association (FEIAA) to provide you with these insights as a resource furthering knowledge and best practice at all levels of government.
